The only situation where I can see it being useful, is if you're doing a no resurrect deathless challenge, then doing the bio groove in 2 parts is much safer, but even then, I tend to brute force my way in haha. yeah, V2 enviro suit is basically useless for pretty much everybody. If you really want to benefit from the V2 suit in the bio contaminated groove, then you rush trying to disable the safety interlocks, then get out and do all the things in maintenance including getting the V2 suit, and once you get it, you can get back to the bio contaminated groove to explore more safely.īut the reality of things, is that everybody including myself, is rightfully too lazy to do that in 2 steps, I just explore the groove at 100% even with the V1 suit and I burn my resources in it, even in 3/3/3/3, so I don't have to come back to it ever again.

But to be able to trigger the master jettison enable switch you need to visit the 3 grooves first and trigger the safety interlocks.

You technically can't get Environment Suit V2 before the grooves, because you need to be able to trigger the master jettison enable switch to get access to the maintenance sections on the maintenance level to lower the security enough to be able to get to the maintenance office and get the V2 suit.
